Rural Electrification

The program of rural electrification 2002-2004 retained envisages the realization of 12000Km of network to connect 110 rural hearths, it also comprises three components:

Support for the economic revival

The financial envelope allocated to the programme of support for the economic revival will emit the realization of 5020 kilometers networks for the food of almost 51 000 hearths.

Normal Program

Taking into account the requests expressed by the wilayate (regions) on the one hand, and of the availability of the capacities of realization on the other hand, it is proposed a normal sectoral program, over the same period 2002-2004. It is envisaged to carry out, within this framework, 7 250 km to connect nearly 62 800 hearths

Electrification by solar energy

It relates to the electrification of 16 villages very far away from the networks existing and located primarily in the wilayates (regions) of the great south (Adrar, Illizi and Tamenrasset). The number of hearths to be fed is 580.

This program is financed entirely by the Funds Special of Development of the Areas of the South.
